Cardiac protocol
The ERAS® Interactive Audit System (EIAS) offers a Cardiac protocol based on the published guidelines of the ERAS® Society.
The Cardiac protocol has been developed in collaboration with the ERAS® Cardiac Society.
Procedures covered in the protocol:
- CABG
- Aortic Surgery
- Valve Surgery
- Surgical Ablation/Maze
- On and Off pump procedures
- Other Cardiac Procedure, except Afib
ERAS® aspects of the following Cardiac Surgery areas are covered:
- Perioperative Opioid use
- Perioperative SSI prevention
- Patient Blood Management
- Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
- Delirium
- Atrial Fibrillation
