As the first hospital in South Korea, Seoul University Hospital has just started their ERAS® Implementation and is now using Encare’s SaaS solution, the ERAS® Interactive Audit System, for colorectal surgery! The multidisciplinary team including surgeons, anethesiologists, nurses, physio therapists and dieticians are current going through the training and implementation program which is estimated to take about a year in full. Once they have implemented ERAS® in full the team would be able to show a significant improvement in patient outcome after major surgery.
The team of Seoul Unviersity Hospital is being trained by the ERAS® Society Clinical Experts and Coaches Dr Kwang Yeong How and Dr Vera Lim of Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore as well as the ERAS® Implementation Progam Chairwoman Valérie Addor of CHUV Switzerland.
